airBaltic extends 737-300 schedule

airBaltic extended Boeing 737-300 operational schedule until late-March 2020, instead of 29NOV19. The 737-300 aircraft is scheduled to operate following routes between December 2019 and March 2020.

  • Riga – London Gatwick (March 2020 only)

 

flyBe extends London Heathrow – Guernsey to year-round

flyBe extended London Heathrow – Guernsey route, which now scheduled as year-round service. This route will continue to operate on/after 27OCT19 on daily basis, on board Dash8-Q400 aircraft.

British Airways S20 Bangkok aircraft changes

British Airways in the second half of summer 2020 season plans operational aircraft changes for London Heathrow – Bangkok route. From 30JUN20, Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner to operate this route on daily basis, replacing 3-class 777-200ER aircraft. First Class cabin is sold on this route.

The airline initially filed 6 weekly 787-9 and 1 weekly -8 aircraft.

 

Air India W19 Mumbai – London aircraft changes

Air India filed operational aircraft changes for Mumbai – London Heathrow route, where Boeing 777-300ER aircraft will continue to operate on/after 27OCT19. The Star Alliance carrier previously filed Boeing 787-8 aircraft for this daily service in winter season.

Air India in winter 2019/20 season plans to launch Amritsar – London Stansted route, as the airline filed 3 weekly service from 31OCT19. Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner will operate this route.

American resumes Boston – London service

American Airlines filed Boston – London Heathrow service, where the oneWorld carrier previously served until March 2013. Subject to Government Approval, AA will resume this route with 1 daily flight from 28MAR20, on board Boeing 777-200ER aircraft.

Separately, AA is also adjusting following service for London Heathrow in summer 2020 season:

Delta S20 Long-Haul changes

Delta during the weekend of 06OCT19’s schedule update filed additional changes to its summer 2020 long-haul service. Planned changes as follows.

Detroit – London Heathrow, DL016/017 A330-200 replaced by following aircraft:

  • 29MAR20 – 20MAY20 A330-300

  • eff 21MAY20 767-400ER

Minneapolis/St. Paul – London Heathrow A330-200 replaced by following aircraft:

  • 29MAR20 – 20MAY20 A330-300

  • eff 21MAY20 767-400ER

Portland OR – London Heathrow

  • eff 25APR20 Seasonal service begins 2 weeks earlier than planned. 767-400ER replaces A330-200

CSA / Smartwings moves UK to seasonal service

CSA Czech Airlines and Smartwings filed service changes to the UK, which becomes summer seasonal routes. Following service will be suspended in winter season.

Israir schedules London Stansted limited-time service

Israir during Christmas and New Year period plans limited-time service to London Stansted, on board Airbus A320 aircraft. Planned operation as follows: Eilat – London Stansted

flyBe files additional service suspensions

flyBe filed additional changes to its winter 2019/20 operation, as the airline discontinues additional 7 routes. Latest route cancellations include the following.

  • Isle of Man – London Heathrow Last flight 26OCT19

  • London City – Dusseldorf Last flight 25OCT19

 

Air Canada S20 London Heathrow additional adjustment

Air Canada filed additional changes for summer 2020 season, mainly focusing on London Heathrow service. Latest adjustment, include those not covered previously, as follows. Toronto – London Heathrow

  • eff 29MAR20 AC868/859 A330-300 replaces 777-200LR

Vancouver – London Heathrow

  • eff 30MAY20 Peak season operates 1 daily 777-300ER (Previously reported, 400-seater replaces 450-seater), instead of 2 daily 787-8/-9 in S19

Norwegian NS20 Trans-Atlantic service changes

Norwegian filed additional changes to its Boeing 787 Trans-Atlantic service for Northern summer 2020 season, effective 29MAR20. This includes service by Norwegian Air Shuttle (DY) and Norwegian Air UK (DI). Additional changes remain highly possible.

  • London Gatwick – Austin 04MAY20 – 29AUG20 Increase from 3 to 4 weekly

  • London Gatwick – Buenos Aires Ezeiza eff 29MAR20 Reduce from 7 to 5 weekly

  • London Gatwick – Denver eff 03MAY20 Increase from 3 to 4 weekly

  • London Gatwick – Miami eff 26APR20 Reduce from 7 to 6 weekly (5 weekly from 13OCT20)

  • London Gatwick – New York JFK eff 29MAR20 Highlighted on Airlineroute’s twitter feed on 06JUL19, the airline continues to display 14 weekly flights, instead of 18

  • London Gatwick – Orlando eff 30APR20 Reduce from 7 to 5 weekly

Jet2.com schedules new A321 routes

British carrier Jet2.com in summer 2020 season plans to introduce Airbus A321 aircraft on additional routes, replacing 737-800. As of 11OCT19, planned additional A321 service as follows.

  • Birmingham – Kos eff 04MAY20 1 weekly (Overall 2 weekly)

  • London Stansted – Corfu 22JUL20 – 26AUG20 1 weekly (Overall 5 weekly)

  • London Stansted – Kefallinia 27MAY20 – 16SEP20 1 weekly (Overall 2 weekly)

 

British Airways resumes London Gatwick – Antalya service

British Airways in summer 2020 season plans to resume London Gatwick – Antalya service, previously served until October 2010 (3 weekly A319/737-400). From 30APR20, Airbus A320 aircraft will operate this route up to 5 times weekly.
