British Airways has revealed its newest retro-jet, a Boeing 747 in the 1980s 'Landor' colour scheme.
What made this branding so eye-catching was the absence of a white base colour, instead using pearl grey for the upper fuselage, a dark blue underside with the dramatic 'Speedwing' in red. Capping it all though was the masterful Coat-of Arms on the tail fin.
The colours were a major step on the road from loss-making state-owned behemoth to 'The World's Favourite Airline' by the time it was privatised.
