Adria Airways ends Paderborn service

Adria Airways is terminating all services at Paderborn on/after 11FEB19. Affected routes include:

  • Paderborn – London Southend service suspended since 07JAN19. Planned resumption from 31MAR19 is cancelled.

 

BA CityFlyer ends Paris Orly service BA CityFlyer is ending London City – Paris Orly route in late-May 2019 . Currently served up to 3 times a day, the last flight is scheduled on 31MAY19. The route is operated by Embraer E170, but switches to WDL Aviation BAe146-200 from 04MAY19:

  • London City – Dublin 01APR19 – 15MAY19 up to 2 daily

  • London City – Edinburgh 09APR19 – 16MAY19 up to 2 daily, as well as 17JUL19

  • London City – Glasgow Selected dates in April, May and July

  • London City – Milan Linate 16JUL19

  • London City – Nice 17JUL19

  • London City – Quimper 18JUL19

  • London City – Zurich Selected dates in April, May and July

China Southern revises 787-9 Guangzhou – London China Southern filed additional aircraft changes for the Guangzhou – London Heathrow route for the summer 2019 season:

  • Planned 787-9 service, replacing -8, will now operate from 31MAR19, on daily basis. The carrier previously filed 787-9 service from 17APR19 to 29MAY19.

Egyptair planned 787-9 operations update

Egyptair filed changes to its planned Boeing 787-9 operation, which also includes the delay of the inaugural by one day. As of 27FEB19, planned 787-9 service as follows:

  • Planned 787-9 service for Cairo – London Heathrow from 01MAY19 to 30SEP19 (2 weekly) has been removed. Planned 787-9 operational routes and dates remain subject to change.

 

Jet2.com updates planned A321 network expansion British carrier Jet2.com has filed additional changes to its planned Airbus A321 network. Latest A321 routes addition include the following:

SAS Scandinavian Airlines is adjusting its service to London in summer 2019 season. From 08APR19, it will move 1 of 6 daily Copenhagen – London Heathrow to Copenhagen – London Stansted using Airbus A319 aircraft:

  • SK520 STN1400 – 1645CPH 319 x24

Service operates daily instead of 5 weekly from 01JUL19 to 11AUG19. The airline is also reducing Stavanger – London Heathrow flight from 2 to 1 daily from 31MAR19.

 

SriLankan London Heathrow service increases SriLankan Airlines is expanding Colombo – London Heathrow service during the months of July and August 2019, operating up to 10 weekly flights instead of 7:

Vueling S19 discontinues routes

Vueling season is discontinuing service in various markets during summer 2019. Based on OAG schedules comparison between summer 2019 and summer 2018, the following will not be offered on/after 31MAR19.

Wizz Air plans A321neo Budapest service Wizz Air filed planned Airbus A321neo operation, as the 239-seater aircraft is set to enter service from mid-March 2019. Initially based at Budapest, the planned A321neo operation as follows:

  • Budapest – London Luton eff 15MAR19 20 weekly, 1 daily from 31MAR19
