Amidst all the doom and gloom that surrounds us it is always good to pause and look for the things that make us feel good, things that might inspire us.
Despite the stumbling fiasco that is Brexit, first we had Liverpool, then Tottenham Hotspur both defying the odds to qualify for the European Champions League Final. The on top of that, Arsenal and Chelsea will meet each other in the Europa League Final after the two clubs won their semi-final ties.
An all-English club sweep of the major European competitions doesn’t happen often so enjoy it, whether you like football or not. The England football team has the Nations League semi-final still to come and Lewis Hamilton remains a world champion.
